Book Release!
Okay, so I know I've been very quiet on here lately, but it's not without reason. Back in early May I started a new not-quite-jewelry-related project and something that I've dabbled in off-and-on but not pushed as hard as I have with this one............. writing a novel. I've started many and eventually I may finish them. However, spurred on by some unpleasantness I was (and still am) dealing with in my life, I started writing again more seriously and the Lord brought this idea into my mind while working on a completely different book.
TAG Gifting - CW's 'Arrow'
Just sent of a package for another TAG gifting event! This time, The Artisan Group is gifting the wardrobe stylist of CW's show 'Arrow' for possible use of our pieces on the show. For this one, I made a sterling silver, smithing and chainwork necklace with Iron Pyrite and opaque Blue Sapphire beads. The necklace measures at about 16.25 inches long.

What's new at Handmaden Designs LLC
Wow, can't believe it's been so long since I made a blog post! First off, sorry about that! Now, onto what's new.
New Jewelry Lines Coming Soon!
First of all, I am so sorry for the long period of silence!! However, despite the silence of this blog, I am still alive and busy making new pieces. A lot of new work will soon be being added to the store once I have finished photographing them. Also, now that the show season is over for the year, I am beginning work on a couple new lines of jewelry. One to be added soon is a line of anklets, and the other, well, lets just say that one shall remain a surprise for now.

Happy New Year, everyone! I just wanted to thank everyone for making 2013 a great year. I'm excited going forward into this new year to see how it all unfolds.
There are some amazing oppurtunities coming up this year that I'm very excited about and will keep you all updated as they approach. One that I have already mentioned in a previous blog post, is that I am thrilled to be participating this year with the many great artisans of TAG in gifting the 2014 Golden Globes.

As many new pieces were listed during last month, so I thought I'd start a feature after each month to show that month's new listings.

Jewelry pulled from the Do-Art Gallery and Izzy's
This summer, I placed some of my jewelry on consignment at the Do-Art Studio and Gallery in bay City, Michigan and their sister store Izzy's on the Avenue. However, I have since decided to discontinue selling via these locations. While the gallery management is very nice, I have made this decision due to a lack of satisfaction with the gallery's business practices.
November Show Schedule
Well, in just a couple weeks the madness begins! This November, I will be having three shows back-to-back-to-back! For anyone interested in dropping by or who may know someone that would be interested in dropping by one of these shows, here is my show schedule for November:
